Electrolysis Question

Hello all, haven't been in forum for a while hope all is well. I found three items the other day I would have to say relics an old combo lock from the turn of the century around 1900 a lag screw and ring, iron possibly a boat tie down or a slave shackle and a lead tool of sort. I'll try the picture thing later. My question to those that have delved into this area of cleaning is how long should I leave this combo padlock in the electrolysis jar. Any help in this area would be appreciated Yours in Christ, George
