My brother just bought a used eldo. mint shape for 225.00 with headphones, is it worth the money ,, I told him heck yes!!!

whats your thoughts,,, it should be a great little machine, he has a silver umax,, I told him it would be a nice upgrade!!

artzstuff1 the Eldorado is a great detector,i had one in 2001.I have a vaquero now and they seem a lot alike.But i can remember digging silver coins with the Eldorado,if i can remember it to had manual ground balance,set this right and it will go deep.

Your brother found a great deal on a GREAT MACHINE . I had a brand new one the 9 Volt one as they made 2 different series one that ran on 8 AA and the one that I had and have now that runs on a 9Volt
I sold my first one off due to some health probs. But Just recently got a GREAT DEAL on another Eldorado 9V Model that was sent back to Tesoro and re calibrated ( it didn't even need it ) But anyway it was checked out .

That is one nice machine and has some Pluses compared to some of the newer machines .

I;m happy with mine .

I think he will be happy with it ,this is his first year to use a detector,!!

He already has a silver-umax and has done pretty darn good with it.

Lets just say he's been bit by the tesoro bug!!! he loves the hobby so far.

He bought it from an older fellow that never used it!! had about 15-20 hrs on it !!! so he got a good deal I think ,,oh I forgot he got a set of earphones with the deal.
