I found this this afternoon at our place in Gonzales, It's the second one of these I've found out there but more complete than the first. It was about 9" down.
 
Fwiw, it is pretty light gauge and bends easily, i found that out on the first one. I have found a Nazi coin out there and a Vichy coin both were on the other side of the yard, so someone brought some stuff back from the war, or sent it.
 
I'm kicking myself now, it looks like there were two gems or decorative glass/plastic held in place by a prong setup, that has corroded away, I did not search for them at the time, I should be able to find the hole this one came from and see if they are in the vicinity.
