Since the Eldorado has ED-180 at what discrimination does it discriminate out wetted salt ??
I remember a Garrett book that recommended making a heavy salt solution in jug and determining where your detector quit responding to salt- has anyone tried this with ED-180 detectors ? I can't remember if salt setting on Whites, ect is below iron but think it was.

Something you will have to experiment with it is around the iron setting but will have to be adjusted where you are. You can do the jug test to get an idea where it can be compensated for but, the ground matrix where you are hunting at the beach will have something to do in this too. A combination of Salt and Black sand will also give your unit fits, but again, you have to use the Disc, GB and Sens to do the compensating, until the unit runs as smoothly as possible....Again some folks hunt towards the water and back. rather then across the incoming surf..
