I went to the beach to try out the Eldo. And i had a good time. Found a little change and a piece of costume jewelry. The weather was great.

how did the eldo work in wet salt sand vs dry? settings and tuning? i have three tesoros, but no Umax. still curious thanks carey

heres what i had goin on. I balanced in the dry sand, Went to discim which was set just before nickel.I ran the sensativety @ 9 the turned the threshold all the way.The machine ran quiet right out to the waters edge no problems. I did not find anything there but i tossed a coin or 2 to check it anyway.
I will have to wait and see if i find anything in the wet sand and then make a decision on that. HH

Great going! The Eldorado is one sweet detector.

You must be really tall, because it looks like you have the bottom rod fully extended in the picture.

I'm 6' 1'' and I have mine set in the 3rd hole from the bottom. The shorter the rod the lighter the coil will feel to your arm.
