I just had to say wee coin spill so that she wouldn't get carried away with herself.

I can't read the date on the one quarter but our quarters haven't been silver since 1964. During WWII our nickles did have silver. The quarters are part of what we call "Clad". It's a sandwich of copper center and nickle/copper outer layers. We are disappointed somewhat when we find them but they will buy things so that's not bad. Congratulations on her "Foreign" coins. I'll bet she was excited to find them. Do you have to turn them over to the Crown?

Wow, your money looks just like ours.
I guess American's are pretty loose with their money. I know I could never find that much money from a Scotsman's pocket. We have quite a few Scotsmen around here and most have their own businesses. You are still the only organ grinder I know. Where is your monkey? I am a pirate and I have a parrot.

Hi John,
We're not mean just overtaxed, the government don't do us any favours. Hence no loose change.
Hey McHiggins must like you , see he's posin' for ya. The pics just to keep you happy.

Hey Paul,
The Liberty quarter is a 1965 and it sure looks a lot different from the more modern ones.
The crown is only interested in historically interesting items. Especially if they have any significant value.
They're just nice keepies.
