I know this ain't much. But it's been a looooooong winter. With the snow almost all melted, and the ground thawing, yesterday was the first time I've been detecting this year. Didn't find a lot. But I always enjoy digging those IH cents. Had one 1919 Abe get in the way. As well as one old V nickel. It was a little muddy in one old field. But it sure was nice to get out and detect. HH Randy

Hey Randy: While you were out there getting muddy finding old worn out pennies, I stayed home and hung mini-blinds and shopped for insurance!!

Don't you wish you were as lucky as me??

Good finds Digger. I once found an Indian head cent 1859 over here in OZ. Not in great nick but still one of my favourite finds.

the last snow we had was so heavy and wet, that it packed the bean stubble firm. I didn't even have to put on the boots! Easy walking, easy digging. Just not enough finds! HH Randy
