........... usually have the inside track on things Garrett. I'm wondering if it is possible to get the new Euro Ace 350 here in North America?? The reason I ask..... is our Canadian coinage is very similar to what they use in Europe. Unlike the U.S. where they wafer copper into coins. So it might be a better idea if I'm in Canada to get the 350 Euro version?? What do you guys think of this idea....does it have any merit??? Question is directed at John and Willy...but open to anyone who cares to chime in ...please do so if you are so inclined...Thanx.

The EURO ACE is the detector that will be sold in Canada. It was actually designed with Canadian coins in mind. I can't wait to get one myself. If it hits our clad like the Scorpion, it's going to be a winner.

As John stated the 350 will be available for Canada and Europe, designed to detect and recognize their coins. But it may be awhile before they are available as Garrett is already way behind. The field testers haven't even received one yet and there is a delay on those.

I've been trying to talk myself into an Ace-250 as a spare metal detector for my trip in November, even tho I'm not able to detect at this time. Would the Ace-350 model for Europe and Canada do better in the Netherlands or Holland? would it (europe/canada) model work in usa?

The 350 would probably do fine in the Netherlands and would detect U.S. coins but wouldn't I.D. them correctly.
