New member
Look at my post about old house hunt..Found the what was pointed out to me a crotal bell ( Sleigh bell I called it)
I noticed it was heavy and full of dirt........Look what was inside all stuck together with mud and crud....You just never know.

1-Undated Indian Head Nickle
1- 1955 Wheat cent
1-1908 Indian head Cent
1-1941 Mercury Dime
1-1958 Wheat cent
1-Undated (Can not read it) Wheat cent
1-1959 Wheat cent( barely readable)

I was really surprised at the stuck inside contents..must have been some kids stash...............Wow !!!
I had a hard time getting them out.

That is just way too cool Elton. That is like hitting the bonus round on the slot machine. :yikes:

Yes Sir...A very pleasant surprise.I just wonder how those coins got in there..........They would only come out one at a time and that was after turning them on side and pushing down from top with a small bladed pocket knife. They were almost fused together....Took about an hour.

Elton, What a great "bonus" cache. The bell is wonderful but then when you add those coins......WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! What a great surprise. Thanks for sharing.
