Edisto Beach SC can anyone tell me

if metal detecting is allowed on any part of this. I'm going there in Oct with a friend and I can't seem to find out. I know there is a state park there which will be off limits but is there part of the beach that it is allowed. Thanks for any help.

Plenty of places to detect & the beach is a great place to hunt for fossils !

You can walk for miles, and lots of room at low tide. Millions of shark's teeth. Good luck.
