hiya all i was out yesterday digging near edinburgh airport (scotland) had a great day and great scenery watching the planes land and take off i forgot my camera so no photos of the planes

Still a very cool find!!! Is it common to find the piece of tail fin or were most destroyed when the mortar hit?

i think most were destroyed on impact but quite a few are still found and some are still dug up unexploded
