With the F-70 selling for $650, will they drop the price on the EDGE, which is a darn fine detector in its own right, or drop the EDGE from the lineup? Coming down $100-150 would have :fisher: owning the mid range market price-wise with a top performance detector:super:. [And the C$, if you still have some ain't no slouch either!]:detecting:
 
What I'm wondering is will the new F5 at its lower price point keep up with the Edge or are you just getting a lot of bells and whistles? If it does match or outperform the Edge lowering the price is a moot point, the Edge will probably disappear. F70 vs Edge hmmm? Shame on FT if the new F70 isn't a step up.

Old vs New... who will win out?

Fisher could drop the F-5 price even more, and do the same with the EDGE and then watch the competition really heat up.:hot::starwars: [And FIRST TEXAS as a Conglomerate is a force to be reckoned with.]
