I had the pleasure of meeting Ed Once. He was speaker at a detecting show at Cedar Point, Ohio.. He treated me like a life long Friend.
I don't believe I was ever made to feel more welcome in my life. We have lost a fine teacher, Finer man, and metal detecting guru.

That is where I first met him too. I still have a signed copy of W&ET magazine that he signed there for me.

Met Ed several times at some relic digs. He was one of the most down to earth and finest people I have ever met. Made a total stranger feel not only welcome, but like we were buddies our entire life. Be with God Ed.

I never had the pleasure to personally meet Ed Fedory but his writings for the Treasure magazines and other publications had a lot to do with my being in the hobby. He use to frequent the Troy Shadow Forum sometime back and I always enjoyed seeing his posts there. He certainly had a love for history along with writing and with his passing he will be truly missed by many...RIP Ed Fedory
