Eclipse Shooter 4x6 DD vs. Eclipse 5.3

I am thinking about getting a smaller coil for my DFX. I can decide between theses two.... anyone have an opinion or preference. I'd be glad to here it.
Thanks.

I have both for the MXT. If you often are working very heavy trash areas and have the patience to cover less ground, the 4X6 is superior to ANYTHING I've used to date and a joy to swing and pinpoint with. Of course coverage and depth fall off due to the size. The 5.3 is pretty good in trash and many think a better generally "all around" coil. I've pretty much landed on the 6X10 DD as my "all around coil" and if I didn't already have both and was going to buy just one, I'd buy the 4X6 specifically for the heavy trash and possibly a bit of nugget shooting. If your budget allows over time, buy both. It'll add that much more versatility to your machine. My two cents.

Depends on your soil conditions.. Mild mineralization the 5.3 is deeper.. Higher the 4x6 DD will be more stable..

The 4X6 will still win in heavy trash regardless of the soil conditions.
