Eclipse 6x10 DD or Eclipse 4x6 DD shooter?

 Hey everyone! I've read over 2 years worth of postings on this site about the two coils I'm thinking about getting, yet I still wanted to post a question. I've had my MXT for a little over two month now and love it!!

My main method of MD is coinshooting and have done great so far with the stock coil. For coinshooting in parks and such should I get the Eclipse 6x10 DD or the Eclipse 4x6 DD? Excelerator coils are not an option for me since I have a gift certificate for whites products. Thanks for your input.

Get the 4x6 shooter. It works great in trashy areas, plus it will get you closer to the metal bars in the playgrounds. But the secret to using the 4x6 is to go REAL slow when detecting those trashy areas. The 6x10 is also a good choice, but the 950 should handle those needs.

It will depend on how trashy the parks are you are working. The 6X10 is what we keep on our MXT 90% of the time as it has depth and good ground coverage. Now if your area is super trashy we found that that little 4X6 Mini Shooter will get in a get those coins in with the trash better then the 6X10 coil. That little 4X6 has some decent depth, but not much ground coverage. The choice is yours depending on where you detect, if you need the depth and the ground coverage the 6X10 will do great for you, but if it is real trashy and the coins are not that deep (over 6 inches) the little 4X6 will do great too.
My wife and myself hunt old parks, schools and ballfields and like I say we have the 6X10 on 90% of the time and the 4X6 the other 10% while the stock coil sits new on the shelf.

the 3.?x6.? 'Shooter' coil or the 5.3 Eclipse.

Either of these will provide a little better dense trash handling performance for you. The 'Shooter' is 'OK' but the 5.3 Eclipse (a 6
