Easy way to bring out detail on dirty silver colored coins (clad)

Rub the coin with a graphite pencil, then use the eraser on the coin....rub off any excess graphite with a tissue. DO not wash or use liquids on the coin afterwards. The graphite DOES NOT remove the crud, it just covers it and brings out detail and dates on coins. Eraser must be soft pink type. DO not use this on silver coins or copper or coins with any value.

Happy Hunting,

Sounds like a lot of work. :) I just put mine in the nearest vending machine and then hit the change button. I'm not sure what kind of cleaning device they have in those vending machines, but they make my old quarters look like brand new in like 10 seconds.
