Easter Morning Hunt

I planned on a short hunt this morning back to spot that I tried last weekend but found to be too muddy. I got the half dollar signal three times and all three times I dug a half dollar! Got "Wishlist Target Number 1" taken care of with the 1944 Walking Liberty Half. I think this is the best looking coin ever put into circulation. Winged Liberty Dimes a close second. It was super deep at at least 10 inches and as I dug deeper I was pretty sure it wasn't a coin. Nice strong signal, though. I also found where the change booth from an old bazaar was located because I found a mess of modern quarters in one small area. Probably at least 25 in a 10x10 area. Needed a sniper coil.

74 coins. $11.59. 3 1/2 hours. A huge monkey off my back!

The real great thing about the hunt was just getting out. Talking to God. I always do that but today being Easter it was different. I got home and my neighbors were screaming and fighting and banging around as they usually are. I had terrible thoughts I didn't want to have. I prayed for strength.

Wow, that is a nice looking WL. I've gotten one Ben but no Kens or WL's. Nice.

Thanks for picking out new "Wishlist" top spot. Franklin Half. Can't count the one my pal sent me for Christmas even if it was sort of a MD related find!

Very nice. Ive found a a few Kennedy's and a Barber, but never a Walker. Very nice indeed.
