Easter Hunt

Had a good day hunting a couple old house sites in a corn field. Was able to run the Ranger up and down the corn rows and flatten them down to cover more ground. The debris field is about 200 yards long and 100 yards wide, these coins came from what I believe to be the front yard. 1851 large cent, 1864 two cent, holed 1865 Indian, 1903 Indian and 8 wheats. Other than harness rings and shotgun shell bases it was really a dream to hunt. The house site is on the 1865, 1874 and 1909 county atlas so there should be more to come.

And you found EXACTLY what SHOULD be there, based on your narrative of the maps you see. I can’t wait to see what’s next! What coil were you using? Nothing quite like a CTX snooping around for coins...it’s almost TOO easy sometimes. Really nice array there Jim!

Nice group of coins Jim that would be a stellar day with either of the old coins you have . sube
