Me thinks that if a beach is off limit for MDing, there supposed to be a sign - "No metal detectors allowed. Like we have it "No music on the beach!", " No Ball Playing in the Beach!", " No dogs allowed in the Beach!","No Parking", "No Standing", " No Trespassing" etc. If they ban something or make it off-limit to tax-payers it is their responsibility to make sure that people know about it.

If there is no prohibiting sign - feel free to detect!

The area of the Sebastian inlet state park you are not allowed to hunt in the water, just from the high tide line to the low tide line. There are more areas you are not allowed in the water to hunt, any thing found in wet or dry sand is yours. When you get in the area check with local law enforcement don't take any chances on loosing your detector and equipment. HH
