need to know what beaches we can hunt from camper without long walk to beach

First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach is right on the Chesapeake Bay w/ plenty of beach access & a great Campground.

There are a few campgrounds right on the beach in Fl. on the east and West coast. HH

I talked to one of the Park Rangers @ 64th St. Entrance and was told I could Detect the swimming beach area there and @ the Campground Beach.
Does antbody know different?

I stopped by the First Landing State Park Campground while in that area today and spoke to (2) rangers at the Main Gate. They do allow MDing at both the Campground Beach and the Beach at 64th St. You MUST fill all your holes, remove any trash and report any finds that might be considered Relic or Historic. No MDing in the Dunes, Trails or Forest.
