Decided to Scuba hunt yesterday, walked waist deep into the water, adjusted my gear and turned on my detector. Sounded funny so I waived it around and the coil was sitting on this ring. 18k 6.7gram. picked up a little medallion later... copper?

Just another one of those days!!!

So how did the rest of the hunt go?

That's the way it should be like all the time:laugh::clapping:
Congrats !!

Had that exact thing happen to me last summer in the wet sand. It is crazy cool. A great feeling! Love those short hunts !
Congratulations on the novel find.

Looks like you need to do some wade hunting and hold off on the scuba till you get that cleaned up scuba! Makes me kinda wonder WHAT else is around the shallows, if you have a BIG chuck like that just sitting on the bottom in waist deep water.

Great find. Love those gold rings.
