earphones + ear muffs idea

hi everyone,
i really would like a pair of good quality detector headphones like black widows or grey ghosts, but i cant afford them!yet.
so i have a pair of EARphones which then i put a pair of earmuffs over to block out the sound of the waves and other noises. it works really well. it blocks
out every noise, and i can hear the threshold buzz perfectly.what difference would a pair of black widows or good quality headphones make in sould
quality? would it be worth the money?

If you are talking about the stock Koss Excal headphones, there is no comparison. I did some bench tests and some of the targets, the stock koss would not even signal at all! When the Gray Ghosts were installed, they would get a read on those unaudible targets and even some chains. They are worth every penny. Call DeMarco Detector Sales and get Joe to set you up with a pair. Get some mate!
