Earning your money back

Buy ATPro lets say for $600. Keep it for one year and lets say you find just $100. Then you sell it at the end of the first year for $400.
So it costs you to use for one year $100. That is only $8.33 a month. Find another hobby that is so much fun and only cost that much. It is a no brainer for me.

It all depends on you. If you are a diehard hunter, get out every chance you can, and have good places to hunt....then chances are higher to earn your investment back quicker. There are no guarantees though. It really comes down to location, location, location. Here in the North...there just isnt the jewelry to be found like in the Southern states on the ocean (referring to beach and water hunting).

You could do it in a month, or in a few years, depends on what you happen to get your coil over and how often you can get out. Worrying about paying it off is the last thing I would worry about. You don't wonder how long it will take a new refrigerator to pay for itself, do you??

I paid for mine the first 2 times out with a couple of trade token but really drove it home when I found another trade token this past Sat and sold it for 1500.00 So I have paid for it and then sum. After using the SE pro for a few years but am really impressed with the AT pro.

I've had mine for almost a month now and found about $14 - $15 in clad. But then again, I'm hitting heavily hunted areas where finding about $0.50 each hunt is an average. Now if you take all the silver i've found in that period of time and the gold ring I found, I'd say about a year at the rate I'm going. But then again, one nice engagement ring with nice chunk of ice could have it paid for in no time. I dont even worry about how long it will pay for itself. I'm more concerned with having fun and I think the money I paid for the detector and all the fun i'm having was definitely worth every penny I spent.
