Hunting the slope just above the tot lot I get a variable signal in the quarter area. Good enough to dig. Using the Ace 250. Coin was near virgin soil at top of cut slope. Rescued a 1920 standing Liberty quarter. Laying on the clay vein, mixed in in with some small chips of coal. Maybe 4 " deep. Well worn, who knows how long it lay there? I've hunted this slope, maybe 6 times in the past, but not as high up. Ace had a good couple of hours ending up with 47 coins, totaling $4.35 plus the silver quarter.

WOW!! Really cool Dancer. It makes me feel good when someone with a 250 does well. I bought one for my grandson and wife to use if they ever accompany me and my F70. I like the Ace because any body can have a great time with very little detector knowledge, and they do keep the youngsters busy. ---------IB

WTG Dancer. Nice clad and great find on the SLQ. Glad you could read the date, because a lot of them you can't. I go to church and try not to lose my temper and cuss, but I must not be living right. I can't get loose to metal detect for love or money. Happy that everybody else is out tho.
