Early Oil Lamp, Bottles, Marbles...

Found a few keepers on Monday's hunt down along the creek ruins. It was a five-marble day, 'nuff said :clapping:

Found this cool little oil lamp - I though it was an espresso maker at first, heh. Bottom is stamped "Universal Lamp Co., Springfield, Illinois" . It's about 4" high and 2" wide.

I also found this lead seal - about 3/4" in diameter. from the side, you can see that there are two layers of lead. It's maddening- you can see a few characters on either side, but can't make out the words. Maybe Spanish.

I was pleased to (finally!) find a complete early Coca-Cola bottle and a few other keepers:

and a 1944 Mexican five centavos coin with fire damage & very thin silver religious medallion:

Someday, I'll find a complete toy and or real pistol!

And a sign for a dying breed:

Luck in the Hunt to all!!

That enameled sign could be worth some serious loot. If you've ever watched American Pickers, they pay premium for enameled old signs. Good going on all of that nice assortment of relics and loot!! Give Tigger a pet for me!!

Thanks, BCD - I hate to see the old enamel signs rotting in the dirt, heh. I'll give Tig a head massage for you (his fav), give devil cat a pet for me, too. Oh, and someone pointed out that the little copper lamp is a carbide miner's lantern, cool!

There was a mall hosting antique dealers selling their stuff. One lady was selling certain marbles for about $100.00. I am not marble literate, but some are worth a lot of $$$. Looks like some of the ones you found just might fit that high $$$ category. You got some nice bottles again! Keep them coming.......
