early morning hunt at fairgrounds

Hit the fairgrounds early this morning. Dug the usual trash and some clad. I got a mixed signal and after circling the target and some wiggling, I was pretty sure that there were two targets. Not 100% but enough to dig, I mean why else was I there, right? I bent down and and saw a yellow patch of grass, which is not a good sign here. This usually means another guy dug it, found trash and left it, which happens a lot here. I pop open the plug and see something shiny pull the dirt out and it's the tail of a pull tab. I rescan the hole and this time I a get a solid dime signal . I dug down another inch or two and out pops a 1927 Mercury dime.

Great job!
