Early Morning Finds

Magicman

Member
Got up early this morning and found a coupe items.. I found the old entrance to a military fort, they rerouted the road when they put in the interstate, (now public property). I found this in a three foot wide strip between the sidewalk and the road. Not much, but good to get out.

The other photo is from Friday morning at one of the local parks.

Thanks for stopping by.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat is this!!!! Those are terrific finds!! I love those old coins..and silver coins!

That dolphin appears to be stamped 920..isn't that sterling? I know that 925 is sterling....I think this is also... I like that one

Great detecting, Magicman!:yo:

Well I got up at 5:00 am and headed back out to the old gate and today I found a Merc, 1920 and 1953D Wheat Penny. Along with a key and some old clad. I was talking to the guys at the fire station, across from where I was detecting and one of them told me about the old trailer park that was behind the station in the 60s. That part of area was owned by Ft Jackson and years ago each installation reserved areas for Soldiers and their trailers and even moved them for them, that was the past. So I hope to find some pre-60 coins.
