Early morning curb hunt to beat the heat

this morning BadJim and I hit the curb strips at 7am to try and beat the heat, I still got skunked on silver.....sure not having much luck this year on the silver coins, but doing good on indians. Got clad, some wheats, 2 indians 1898 and 1907 and an old bullet. Figured it was pretty old the bullet has a white patina and normally that indicates old lead. It says on it Peters .38 S & W

you can see the rust on the top of the 1898 indian, it had a nail laying across it

that takes me to 81 indians for the year.

Great hunt Terry, wanted to get out myself but caught a bug and it is laying me low, hope to get better soon. Love those Indians I have some curb strips in mind to try out too!

Congrats on a nice hunt and the nice Indians! I feel you pain on the silver, I am stuck on 29 for the last 7 weeks or so. I have not got to hunt like I normally do, but I would like a stray silver every now and then.

Nice finds Terry. You may not have found any silver but you sure made some cool finds. 2 Indians and 6 wheats definitely means your in the right area. Thanks for sharing and HH -Marc
