Tomorrow morning i'm hitting a sports complex that a local high school uses for sporting events. Softball, baseball, and soccer fields located here..as well as a running track. I'll be using my GTP 1350 for only my second hunt. Hoping to find some jewelry..i pulled about $5.00 in clad from a football field with the 1350 my first time out.

That should keep you busy! There should be some nice jewelry there what with all the coins you've gotten. The track area is a good place, especially the main straightaway, where the 100yd dash finishes...but dang, with all those locations of participants and spectators, you could work that complex for many a moon! Just be careful you dont whack yer noggin on the crossmembers! I did that last year. Scalped me pretty good, it looked like a golfer tried to hit a ball off the top of my head with a sand wedge! Crawled on over to the porta crappers and packed a bunch of buttwipe up under my hat and kept going!

Just wondering,BLRRLB if you have a sniper. Also, have you ever used an Ace to compare it with the 1350? ThanksI've never used a Ace, my grandma has one. The hunt was cancelled due to weather..i have the same coil that came on it stock. My dad was big on detecting years ago and kinda got away from it so i use his old 1350. I also hunt with a guy that used to hunt with my dad who uses a Minelab Safari..i'm saving all the clad and jewelry(if i find any) until i can buy a Safari with my 1350!!
