Early AT Pro Problems

Relic

New member
Hello!

It's been awhile since I've been on the forums as life often gets in the way of living and interests have to give way to the demands of responsibilities. I'm glad to see that many familiar names are still active and contributing wisdom to the community.

I'm interested in buying a used AT Pro and I understand that early models had problems that were later corrected. When were those corrections implemented. Is there a range of serial numbers to avoid?

Thanks!

Steve

The easiest way to tell if it's a newer version or if it had the upgrade is to check and see if the S shaft has camlocks. If it does, it should be good to go. I have 2 of the early ones and had them both upgraded and have had no problems since.

None of the new ones had any traditional shaft locks?

I just got mine and it ha traditional shaft locks....

I read on another board that Serial # 505 and earlier was issues.....
