Ear phone pads badly cracked?

New member
The pads on my Killer B's were cracking so I added leather to the pad face. Easy to do if you just cover up the face of the pad as seen in the photo. Double stick tape was used, contact cement will work too. Leather handbags can be bought at garage sales for about $1 each. Hard to see in the photo, but there are 1/4" long slits all around the hole spaced about 1/4" apart so the leather can easily bend inward at the hole. Can't beat real leather. Jabbo

Easy, and comfortable repair. Thanks for sharing.

Yea, for about $27 They will replace the ear muffs with soft leather ones like they put on the new ones. I just had a set done, and Bill even called me and asked if there was any other issues that needed to be fixed, great service, I will always have a set of KB's!!!!!
