Hello has anyone concidered ear buds or some headphones that have a softer ear cup ? Becouse sometimes (when its cold weather mostly) my grayghost originals are just too dang tight and my my head feels strange like light headed feeling ect when there worn any ideas and has anyone else had this happen too them during cold weather? thanks sas

My Sunray Pro Gold has a very soft leather cup and feels so nice and snugly warm like a nice pair of earmuffs that aren't too tight, but just right in the winter and also very comfortable in the hot summer too.

:pulltab: I tried the earbud thingie , it worked alright but it seemed to let too much wind and road noise from passing viehicles, so I went back to my Grey Ghost headphones and haven't looked back since. Best of luck hunting.

Unless they have changed, the Grayghosts have a plastic earcup if I remember right. The SunRay Golds have a soft leather cup that is very comfortable year around. I have used the earbuds and lightweight phones and they work OK for clad gathering, but to hear the faint deep signals, they just don't measure up to the good headphones.

For lack of anything else at the time I used earbuds. I since have bought a decent set of headphones designed for metal detecting and happy I did so. I found them in general to be a royal pain.

Thank you for all the idea's comment ect i thing the earbud idea is a flop i will stick too metal detector head phones.Sas
