Eagle Spectrum Battery Pack

Redwald

New member
I have an older White's Eagle Spectrum, which is a great detector. The original rechargeable battery pack died a couple of years ago so I've been using the regular alkaline pack ever since. I'd like to get back to using a rechargeable pack again but I'm not sure where to buy one or even if they're still available. I've looked on Kellyco's website but I couldn't find what I was looking for. Does anybody have any suggestions Thanks...

I believe that it is the same as the rechargeable unit for the DFX. Any Whites dealer should know for certain and be able to order one.

If your battery pack uses 4 "C" batteries like my whites Sliver Eagle does you can buy the rechargeable battery at any authorized dealer or right here http://hobby.us.whiteselectronics.com/content/view/37/132/

The battery pack for the XLT and DFX WILL NOT WORK.

Both White's and Kellyco have what you need. You are looking for part number 802-5185 they are $34.95 from White's and part number 960-B8025185 for $34.95 from Kellyco.

Be sure you have the correct charger 509-0020-1 (be sure the get the -1 modle as it has dual charge/trickle charge option that will stop you from cooking the battery) cost is $14.95 from White's.

It takes the c pack..Still available from Whites.

Thanks NC-Joe. I've ordered the 802-5185 battery pack on Monday from White's Electronics in Sweet Home, OR and I still have my 509-0020-1 charger. So, I'll be all set to go for the new year!
