Eagle II SL

I finally got another Eagle II SL as I had one a few years ago that I hardly used as it was the later model 90 with the 4 pre sets and 2 user modes. This is the first run 89 and man it is true the earlier ones were hotter as it will hit a dime in an air test with proper I.D. at 6 sens. in stock coin mode at a solid 10''! Man my XLT and DFX that I had couldn't do that or my other Eagle. I can't wait to get this baby out to some of my old park spots and cherry pick some silver. I didn't use my other one much only a couple times in stock coin and jewelry so any advice is welcome.

Hi Harold, I had a 89 model also and sold it, and now have a 90 model and think the 89 was hotter. But i still like the 90 also, if it just wasn,t so heavy. I am trying to think of a way to hip mount it,but can,t get it off the rod. I just got a big foot coil for it last week and have not had time to used it yet. It looks alful out on the end of your detector, but it is lighter than the 950 coil. I have the 600 BM coil that i use most of the time. I hope you luck with yours, i don,t think i will sell this one, they are to hard to find in good condition. Flintstone

Thanks Lockman, did you get the hip mount from Whites? I can,t find one, i though about Doc,s Swing-e- thing. Good video by the way. Flintstone
