Eagle II SL...started reading instruction manual. WOW! Powerful machine!

I have been using an entry level Bounty Hunter Tracker IV for the past year, and have had a great time with it, but honestly, you can only dig up so many pop tops, bobby pins, and foil gum wrappers before you get a little tired of bending and digging.

I inherited this Eagle II SL, and tried it earlier, and it just made a bunch of noise.

So this afternoon, I pulled up the instructions, and am realizing just how powerful this thing is!

I can't wait to learn more of the features (such as ignoring foil, bobby pins, and pop tops!) and getting comfortable with the machine.

If anyone has any wisdom to share, to tighten up my learning curve, please share!

My first detector was a Eagle IIsl, then after 2or3 other detectors, i had to find another, now i have a nice one and will never let it go. I just got a nice Big Foot coil for it and can,t wait to try it out. One of Whites Best. Good Luck just take your time, go with preset first until you learn it, It will go as deep as alot of other detector just in pre set. TRY IT YOU WILL LIKE IT. Flintstone
