What happened to the Eagle II SL 90 , Nobody talks about it anymore Was it the Japanese Maps?????
I have one and it was way before its time??? It can still Hang with the Big Boys, Who still uses one, Mickfin

eagle blue box with the update chip installed and also have an eagle II s... Love both models and both hunt really good... They were way ahead of their time for sure..

Probably the great grandfather of the XLT and many are still being used. Lets face it they are 20 years old are double tiered and like a chinese puzzle to setup but surely way ahead of its time and are still producing and understand parts for them are getting scarce.

I still have mine,It is the black box, looks almost new. I sold my first one and got a new mxt when they first came out. Before i got my MXT, The best thing i had found with the Eagle was a 14k gold broach with 63 diamonds, appraised at $3000.00. I think that is why i bough another Eagle The broach was about the size of a 50c piece it was 16" deep with the 9.5 coil. They are very good detectors. Little heavy for me but i still take it out every now and then.

I started this Great Hobby in 1988 with a Blue box Eagle after a few years i upgraded to a Black box Eagle II SL 90
Now she is my back up to my V3i , I still get Her out now N thean the Eagle has found a lot of good finds 4R me,
I think her Downfall was wen people have to think and remember what to do on how to run Her GAME OVER??????
Whites first computer Detector???? She will Lock on a target better thane my V3i Not as Deep though??? Mickfin, Thanks All,
