Anyone know where I can find postings of other peoples favorite programs for the Whites Eagle 2 sl 90? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I do know Townley had an excellent pamphlet out on it with tips and programs...Might post on one of the classifieds you are looking for one. Years ago a German fellow had a site and honestly because of its age never found anything else on the web...I can't remember the title of Townleys info and is not available on web, but imagine someone may still have it...and could easily make a copy of it as it doesn't have many pages...

Kurt- Before buying an XLT recently, I used an Eagle SL 90 for 15 years (still have it). I set up 2 user programs in it. One has partial discrimination rejecting from -96 to +8 and +29 to +49 and accepting the rest. I got this from a book, but to be honest, I can't remember which one. The one I ended up using the most was the second program that rejected -96 to +10 and accepted all the other numbers. If the ground wasn't very trashy, this is the one I used the most with a 6" coil. If you don't mind the almost constant noise from all the trash in the ground, I would recommend this program. The most important thing is to put the preamp control all the way up (it will most likely be unstable) and put the AC sensitivity on 5 or 6 then after ground balancing back off on the AC first favoring the preamp control. If your ground is like mine is here in New Jersey, you will probably end up with the AC at 4-5 with the preamp about two thirds from maximum before you get a nice stable hum. Just remember to ground balance every time you change any setting. Hope this helps.
