E-trac's gold switch still locked on off - finds death in the lane today

Hit the lane today for a spin in the bricks

Had plenty or bricks and wave foam blowing everywhere.

Found only a few clad coins in the wet, but spinning up and down I found a few coins just laying on top of the sand, all this wind had uncovered them, so I worked that zone and picked up what u see plus that big fishing sinker

over population, rutting season and they run out in front of cars, many dead on sides of the road. Could be this one got hit by a car and wandered off to die.

I hate to see dead animals. That one has small horns too. How are you liking the e-trac Max. I heard that if you hunt in auto you get more depth. Hope you like your new machine. Getting chilly huh?

WOW! That's something I've never seen before...a dead deer in the lane? Holy moly!
...as far as the FINDS, I don't think it matters what machine, what coil, or what hunter...the lane is BLEAK right now.

Karl and I went out on Friday evening, in the height of the "blow" that we had, and I got 3 dimes, 2 nickels, and 14 crusty pennies. Karl did SLIGHTLY better. It was PAINFUL. I had my Excal, by the way, because it was blowing 30 MPH wind and raining, so I didn't want to risk the GT in that environment. But there just wasn't anything there. I covered from 6th st. to the jetty and then to the Boardwalk hotel and back to 6th st. and I went IN the water, up high in the wet sand, and in the middle. NOTHING.

Of course if you ask our friend, I suppose he will tell us that there were "targets everywhere", but that was not my finding. But then I'm not as good as he is either, so... :shrug:

I heard it gets sooooooo cold up north.....the dogs stick to the Hydrants.

When we were kids we'd touch our wet hands (or tongue) on frozen metal poles and leave half our skin behind..
Not a good feeling:laugh::rofl:

You pipe your fife and tell your stories and I will dig it when its there. When I post it is whats actually whats going on! :detecting:
