E trac wireless head phones?

I am thinking about getting some wireless head phones for my E trac. One particular spot I hunt I have to backpack into and the coil cable is driving me nuts when it catches on the gear and pulls the head set down. Any ideas would be appreciated and any suggestion on Good Quality wireless head phones as well ( I do better with the deep stuff when the head set is good).

thanks for any reply,

Radio Shack makes a set that reportedly works with many detectors...They are RF wireless, not IR, and have a small transmitter that can be velcro attached to the box on the machine.

HH,

I have the radio shack ones and they work well. I had to buy an adapter for my omega because it doesn't have an audio control. I have used them on a T2, Omega, Ace 250, Golden Umax, Tesoro Deleon and an old Freedom Ace.

It worked on all of them, some with the adapter and some without.

The adapter I bought from Kellyco for 8 bucks in the closeout section.

For the Etrack have a look on the Minelab owners site, they use a guitar transmitter and fm headphones with good results
