E Trac warranty mail in card?

Hello,

I just got my E Trac the other day and was filling out the mail in warranty card. It asks for the serial # of the coil and the serial # of
the model. On the coil there are two bar codes with numbers associated with them. Neither say serial #.
On the underside of the handle behind the control box there is a bar code with numbers. Then on the back of the control box
there is a number with no bar code. No where on the machine does it say serial number.

On the coil the numbers are: 42GRQR and C6002830 both w/bar codes.

On the underside of the handle the # is: 42FU2S w/bar code

On the back of the control box the # is: XQ1 20992 no bar code.

I e-mailed minelab@minelabusa.com with these questions and got a mailer demon. Saying user unknown.

My coil only had 1 bar code and the Cxxxxxxxxx - it also said warranty void if removed.
The XQ1xxxxxx number is the only one I have on the back of the E-Trac. I don't find any other numbers.

Those are the ones I sent in on my card. Check your invoice too, I think it will give you those numbers also.

Hi Dan If you still have the box it came in there is a sticker that has the info you want. Or otherwise it would be the 20992 for the control box and 6002830 for the coil. I have had my etrac for about a month now and like it alot. hope this helps.

On the back of the warranty card there should be a sticker with the coil and the control box serial numbers on it. They started doing this a couple years ago. Also the factory box it come with should have the info also.

Thanks for the help. Da me ! I looked every where on that warranty card for the location of the serial #'s,

and there they were staring right at me on the back of the card. Too funny.

Nothing on the box or invoice though......hmm.
