E-trac warranty length

A bit confused about the e-trac warranty. In the product warranry card it says
2.1 Electronic control boxes (with the exception of the Excalibur*), Minelab branded search coils, handles, shafts, headphones, bags and battery chargers are under warranty for a period of 3 years (36 months) from the date of retail purchase as set out in the Warranty Registration Card ("Date of Purchase");(* The Excalibur is warranted for a period of 1 year (12 months) from the Date of Purchase.)

But in the back of the e-trac manual it says, " there is a 2 year parts and labour warranty for the electronic control box.

Also, did you all register the battery and charger and koss headphones online for the warraty?

I have good news for you - it is a 3 year warranty. I checked with Minelab because there seems to be conflicting information i.e. user manual vs. website. I don't recall entering anything for the headphones or charger. Do they even have a unique serial number?
