E trac vrs safari

I own both machines. Really too hot to detect in Tx. now. My question is if you were to keep one which would it be and why?

I had a Safari and it was a nice machine , but after learning it and using it successfully I wanted more ability to set up the discrimination to suit my needs.
Also though it lacked on target ID number reliability. Also seems there was not much to modify on the few programs it had .
I've not used an ETrac but I did trade the Safari for a CTX and love it. It has all the capabilities I could ever need .
I understand the ETrac has a lot of the CTXs capabilities and that's why if it were my choice I'd go for more setup flexibility and keep the ETrac.

I had a Safari - it's a very nice machine but ... keep the E-Trac !

I have both and if forced to choose, I'd go with the E-trac. The safari has its charms and is probably an underrated machine, but the E-trac is a super coin machine.
