E trac user question?

Now that some of you have been using your E trac pretty successfully how do you think you are doing with your trash digging percentages? Do you think you are digging more or less trash than you did with your old detector? You know what I mean...sometimes I dig every semi decent target that barely VDIs but sounds pretty good if I am in a good area where I know some good stuff is still down there. Is that the case with the big "E"? or do you think your more likely to dig successfully in that kind of an area, overall?. Just lookin for solid judgments with little hype. I know you love it...just don't tell me your sleeping with it. I say smiling.

Same here, the only nails that I have dug have been in holes with coins! Aluminum still seems to get me every now and then but way less than the SE. I followed a buddy around today with his SE and we compared a lot of signals. Some that the SE said were good targets id'd as not so good on the Etrac but every good signal that I got with the Etrac id'd good on the SE. The Etrac was right every time that we tested it. I found today that if I got a good signal and it pinpointed off of the good signal over to a nulled signal, if I ignored the pinpoint and dug where I thought the good signal was I dug a coin 100% of the time.

Are you getting any more depth with the e-trac?Are the signals stronger?I haven't used mine yet it went back to kellyco because the display had a scratch on it.

I havent noticed more depth or stronger signals, just a lot more of them, especially in trashy spots. I have actually found more coins in the 4-6" range that I am sure were masked by iron.

I tried a rusted screw and a coin and the e-trac nulled and if i seperated it by a couple inches it hit the coin.

I hunt with a couple of guys using SE's and what they sometimes show as a good target the E-Trac will correctly ID as iron.

Diggin better target to trash for sure, first started dug it all just to learn what the machine was telling me. Starting to trust it far more and getting good targets in the trash. as far as depth goes seems the 12x15 SEF got targets left in a CW sites much deeper than I or my hunting buddies usually dug.

I am digging less trash and more, deeper good targets that I did with my EX-II. I love this machine!! I have found more Seated Coins & Nickels than ever before. HH...Jesse.
