E-Trac stock coil vs NEL "Big" coil

The large coil was stable and did well on the low conductive targets....

Nice post, I've never been sold on NEL. That looks pretty good there, definitely improved sand depth

Pretty much what would be expected from different size coils.
How about similar comparisons with the WOT and SEF coils of the same size with a table comparing weights and prices---that would really be meaningful!!!!

Just out of curiosity, why use nickels instead of silver coins?

Thanks.

I think that nickel is weaker than silver coin. My coin garden that I can pick up a Mercury dime at 8 inch deep but Nickel is only at 6 inch deep. I think that If you can pick up nickel at 6 inch then you can pick up silver coin at deeper than 6 inch easy!

Thank you for the vid Carter. Can you tell us the dimensions of that NEL coil? How is the weight compared to the stock coil?

I just got a NEL sharpshooter which is comparable in size to the coiltek joey coil. Its not as light but only a little heavier and performance so far looks excellent. I havent gotten it to any saltwater beaches yet but will. Looks to be a well made coil.

Hi Dear
I want to know maximum depth that E-TRAC can reach it. What is the maximum depth that Etrac With biggest coil can detect a 40*40 cm metal in soil???
Thanks

Nice video!
I've also have the NEL Big coil but only used it a couple times. Problem is most sites around here have high junk densities which makes a large coil very difficult to use.
It is fatiguing to use. As i remember after an hour or so of swinging it, i changed back to my NEL Tornado.
Got a couple sites in mind where i'm gonna use it next Spring.
