Finally got the E-Trac setup the way I like it. Took some tinkering, not as obvious as one would think. Basically, it sounds like my Explorer now, so it's easy to hunt by tones. Plus, I can switch between the two without much hassle. The E-Trac hit nice and locked on the coins nice and solid - better than the Explorer, at least at this one site. Was rewarded with a bunch of wheaties and three silver dimes today. 
Hit one spot where a bunch of wheats were all about 4-6" apart, and the E-Trac had no problem separating them and pinpointing nicely on each one. I was even using the Slimline coil as opposed to the Pro and I did not feel I was missing a thing.
