E-trac signals

I mostly hunt with a wide open screen, question is I'm hunting multi tone, conduct sound, problem is all targets on right side of screen have a high tone. So I look down at the screen everytime I get a high tone to see a 35-42 or something like that. If I close some of that screen will I be masking targets next to iron? Am I missing some silver by passing on these targets? Thanks Tom

I usually block out 27-35 ferrous lines when coin hunting and switch to quick mask wide open when in doubt. and use a wide open screen in TTF for relic hunting

When I use a open screen it is always TTF. A lot easier to seperate the conductive sounds....then somtimes switch to conductive to hear the high tones if needed.

Relic mode and TTF. If you are coin jewelry hunting you will not miss anything. Pass up nickles, pass up gold. When I first got the Etrac I thought it was so complicated but it is actually a very easy machine to learn and use. Goes4ever is the guy you want to pick his brain.

I disc out 25FE and down.....If you use open screen and multi tones you will constantly be looking at your screen and it will make it near impossible to hunt by tones. I suggest you block out some of the iron, 25FE and down....OR if you insist on using complete open screen then try TTF, so the iron gives you a grunt instead of a high tone
