I charge my battery for 18 hours before I hunt and after 30 minutes of hunting, I lose 1 bar on the meter. Is this normal?

Yeah I lose teh first bar pretty quickly but I can still hunt for two days on one charge if not a bit longer.

ok, Thanks! I have never ran the battery out and I have hunted 5+ hours at a time, just curious if the first bar should drop so fast.

I've noticed this too, drops within 45 mins by 1 bar, but then goes on for over 6 hours before a recharge is needed.
I take a backup with me just in case I need it -- It's got 8 rechargeables in it..... the ones with the Copper Top and can last over 10 hours easy.

The first bar drops pretty fast. If you get a second rechargable battery, you can wait until each one is fully used before replacing whic will et you a lot more time than guessing and changing because you got down to one bar.
