E-Trac question ................

Elton

New member
It is "MY" understanding after reviewing Andy's hand book on the e-trac that it is workable to set ground setting on Neutral and do plowed fields....... I know the Se Pro would not work. because of air to ground ratio. Is this a fact about E-trac and Plowed fields ???......... It also says most US Grounds require Difficult ground setting to get best results. ??? Unless it is plowed field area.

Something to do with the return signal I guess. I was reviewing the Book once again. And, stumbled upon the mention about Neutral ground and plowed fields.......... For a few years now I always avoided plowed because I didn't think the E would work ..just like the Xs ,Exp and Se Pro.... I tried a couple times and had very poor results with the machines mention. So I stopped trying.

I believe it was a issue with falsing....I run my detector in difficult ground setting and have not experienced any trouble in plowed fields. My etrac is always easy to get along with.....most of the time.

I run on difficult all the time here in the UK , and you will always get nulling if there is any discrim on the screen, run in all iron then you will not get nulling .

When on the beach next and I find a target I will try the Neutral and see what happens.
