E-trac Question

Looking to maybe buy a used etrac or se later this year. Any big difference between the 2 and is the depth about the same? Mainly hunt coins. Thanks Tom

this has been discussed quite a bit, check out these two threads. thats all i could come up with searching for "etrac vs. explorer" but im sure theres more on this site than that. i never owned an SE so I cant help you in that way.

The Etrac to me has always been a quieter running machine. The Explorer line can be a little more taxing on the brain as I always listened to "more" of an opened screen and I never found that to be necessary with the etrac. The etrac is certainly a more turn on and go machine. As far as depth I feel they are very close to equal. The etrac is faster in recovery and with it's handle tilted back 15 degrees more then the se, it makes it more comfortable to swing.
