e trac on the way

Just purchased a used e Trac and it should be here next week.started with a ace, then a at pro,and now a xterra 705,but always wanted a e Trac.I'm just hoping the learning curve isn't too big cause I'm in Pennsylvania and the winter is close.I hunt a lot of 1800s homes so my question is can I expect a big difference from all my previous machines?I'm a coinshooter mainly.and I haven't sold my 705 yet,but I might still keep it too,...

Sorry I couldn't help myself I got a etrac in February and hunt a very old and trashy park found 40 plus silver coins Morgan dollar last week you will love the etrac

I just got an E-Trac less than a month ago. I learned how to download the Parks program that is featured on here and that's it so far. Forget the numbers, listen for repeatable beeps and you will be all set. You will dig a lot of aluminum screw caps. BUT once you hear silver you will know the sound. Since you have a short window before winter, like I do (Michigan) I would use that program and have fun. I have pulled up two walkers, 2 quarters and 7 dimes and two silver rings in the short time I have played.

I think you will be quite pleased. And if you are digging a target that gave you repeatable beeps and it disappears keep digging, it is down there.

im wondering how a misspelling of coinshooter could lead to post #2. im not that bright though.

you will love the etrac, just give it time....
